M & R Machine & Tool ships to all 50 states using the three (3) major carriers - UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Orders placed via website, phone, or email before 3:30 PM CST will ship same day if there is sufficient inventory to fulfill the order. Some orders may ship partial if there are some items in stock and some that are not. We will ship the remaining items on the order as soon as they become available. M & R also ships to Canada and Mexico via UPS Standard or USPS International. International expedited shipment options are available as well. We can ship International to other countries upon request.
Free Shipping
Most standard stock orders amounting to $75 or more placed through the M & R website qualify for free shipping. Orders specified as free shipping will ship the most economical way for M & R Machine & Tool which can include USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Surepost, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground. If a specific shipping method is desired, the shipping method can be selected at checkout, but the order will no longer qualify for free shipping.
Spare parts, replacement parts, and some items needed to be ordered in from the manufacturers do not qualify for free shipping. Marvel Ironworkers also do not qualify for free shipping, and the freight cost will be quoted before finalization of the order.
Expedited shipments do not qualify for free shipping.
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska do not qualify for free shipping.
Expedited Shipments
M & R Machine & Tool can accommodate any expedited shipping requests via the 3 major carriers listed above ie: USPS Express, UPS Next Day Air, UPS NDA Early AM, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 2nd DA Early AM, UPS 3-Day Select, FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, Etc... as long as the order is placed before 3:30PM CST for USPS and UPS shipments, and 12:00 PM CST for FedEx shipments. Any expedited shipments placed after the cutoff times will ship the following business day. Expedited shipment costs will be charged according to the carriers' rates, and the final cost for each expedited shipment will depend on the ship to location, and the size and weight of the package. Expedited shipments are not guaranteed, and M & R will not issue any shipping refunds unless there was a fault to M & R for an expedited shipment not arriving when requested. Keep in mind, some Expedited services are not offered at some geographic locations, but the website might still allow customers to chose any expedited shipment service that M & R offers. For example, at checkout, a customer may be able to select UPS Next Day Air Early AM, but that service may not be offered by UPS because of the geographic location of the shipping address. But standard UPS Next Day Air may be available. M & R will default to the next best shipping method if a requested service is not available from the carrier. Expedited shipments placed on later days in the week (Wednesday - Friday) with shipping options 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air (regular and Early AM), and Next Day Air (regular and Early AM) can be expected to arrive the following business days (ie: NDA placed on a Friday will arrive Monday). If Saturday delivery is needed, the Saturday Delivery option will need to be selected for an extra charge. Saturday is NOT considered a business day. It's also possible Saturday Delivery may not be offered in all geographic locations, so the next best shipment option will need to be selected. When in doubt, please contact M & R to ensure your shipping request can be accommodated without error.
Freight Shipments
M & R Machine & Tool will ship most shipments weighing over 95lbs via FedEx LTL Freight. Most heavier magnetic drills, machines, and hydraulic punches will ship via freight, but will still qualify for free shipping with the exception of the Marvel Ironworkers. Any expedited freight shipments will be an extra charge and will not qualify for free shipping. If a different freight service other than FedEx is desired, M & R can accommodate freight shipping labels and scheduled pick ups if customers wish to set up their own freight shipment. Return Shipments
Return shipments are handled on a case by case basis. If an order needs to be returned due to a customer error, then the customer can return the order via the most economical way depending on the weight and size of the shipment. Most small orders can be returned via USPS at the customer's expense. Larger orders such as Magnetic Drills will need to be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground at the customer's expense. M & R Machine & Tool will provide a return service label for any return shipments at no additional cost to the customer, where M & R may have caused the error.
